Zoo Lights

We had SO much fun tonight at Zoo lights. They did a magnificent job decorating. The pictures don't do them much justice, you have to see them in real life.

Halloween 2009

Soren's first year trick-or-treating was a blast! Maggie was visiting and so was able to come with us. We walked all over the neighborhood for an hour and a half. Soren walked almost the whole way, got to stay up an hour past bedtime and scored tons of candy.

No, this isn't a tricycle or a bicycle, this is a Motorcycle! Soren was sure that mommy and daddy knew that while on our walk this evening. He even picked up his sunglasses and put them on all by himself. What a big boy! And a super cool look'n one at that!

Lego Head

Soren is using his imagination more and more every day. A few nights ago he was a fireman. He turned his Lego box into the perfect hat!

First Minestrone Soup Experience

Soren had soup with broth in a "Big Boy" bowl for the first time tonight. He tackled Cheerios and milk so well that we assumed soup would be a piece of cake. Um, no... it wasn't. Imagine our surprise while sitting at the dinner table. We scrambled for the camera to catch this one!

August 19th 2009 - Nate's Company Picnic

5 years ago today, Nate and I found ourselves surrounded by family and close friends on a beautiful beach in Maui. As the sun set, we said our vows, exchanged rings and sealed our marriage with a kiss. As we walked alone down Makena Cove beach we talked about how we planned to re-visit this very beach and celebrate our 5th anniversary. Boy, how our lives have changed. Funny thing is... as I watched my husband mingle and laugh with friends and co-workers, and watched my son giggle and squeal with excitement... there was no place on earth I'd rather be on my 5th anniversary that right there, right then, with my beautiful boys.
